5 Yogis to follow during COVID-19 social distancing

yogahomecovid

For inspiration, for virtual classes, for meditation or just for comfort in this unprecedented stressful time in our lives, these are my favourite yogis to follow online.

Julie B (Instagram @juliebyoga)

Julie is offering two classes a day Monday to Thursdays and one on Friday during this time. These virtual classes are done via Zoom and cost 5 euro each. Julie has such a feel-good vibe to her flows, and you feel energized but relaxed afterwards.

Erica – The Yoga Sanctuary (Instagram @yogasancturarydublin)

Erica is the owner of The Yoga Sanctuary in Malahide, Dublin and is my yoga teacher trainer and all-around guru! Follow her for sea swims, positivity, and all the info on upcoming workshops (when normal life resumes!). She has a short home yoga flow on her feed right now plus a grounding and nurturing  Pranayama practice that I have been using to help calm me down.

Suzanne – The Yoga Lounge (Instagram @theyogaloungedublin and on @rsvpmagazine1)

Suzanne is an amazing yoga teacher based in Raheny, Dublin, with a lovely mellow and encouraging style of teaching but you will work hard too if that is what you are looking for. She has moved her entire schedule and teachers online for COVID19 social distancing. Suzanne has also collaborated with RSVP magazine and their weekly mini-classes are available via the RSVP Instagram account. Suzanne is one of my yoga teacher trainers.

Melissa – Tummy love with Melissa (Instagram @tummylovewithmelissa)

If you are currently pregnant, then Melissa is the one for you. She is still teaching pregnancy yoga virtually via The Yoga Lounge (see above) during this time, and has some really lovely meditations for bonding with baby on her Instagram feed. Melissa is the anatomy queen in my yoga teaching training!

Rachel Brathen – Yoga girl (Instagram @yoga_girl)

With over 2million followers, Rachel probably needs no introduction as one of the biggest yogis on social media. What I like about her is that she is living in Aruba and so her feed is so sunny and full of blues and pinks. She brings some much needed lightness to my feed. She does a live meditation every day on Instagram and all her classes are available on her website.
