Margaret Young is a vinyasa, restorative and yin yoga teacher and wellness entrepreneur who founded Wild Soul in 2020.
As well as teaching online and at her home studio, she teaches yoga for a number of top Dublin studios and corporate clients, as well as the Powerscourt Springs Hotel in Wicklow.
Margaret documented her initial yoga teacher training journey with a monthly column for Evoke.ie, a top Irish website attracting over 1.2m female readers a month and has contributed wellness articles to multiple publications including the Irish Times and Image.ie.
She is an ambassador for Chia Active and works with many more wellness brands.
Margaret launched a range of Wild Soul Apparel sweatshirts in Summer 2021 with an Autumn/Winter range in the works for October. She also has a wellness candle, Lemon & May Change, purchase of the candle includes access to an online wellness hub.
Margaret’s background is in admin and managerial roles in healthcare and corporate environments. She has been self-employed since 2017, initially setting up a business in healthcare, which then evolved into the wellness space.
After practicing yoga for over 20 years she started yoga teacher training in 2019 and graduated from her vinyasa yoga 200 hours training during the Covid pandemic, moving straight into teaching yoga online and then later in person at studios and wellness facilities.
She then undertook advanced 300 hour teacher training in Spring 2021 and added Yin, Restorative, Nidra, Prenatal and Adaptive Yoga to her skill set.
