Chia Blueberry Bowl Recipe

It is well and truly smoothie bowl season! I want to share with you my newest creation Chia Blueberry. Simple, delicious, vibrant and perfect as a meal in itself or a treat on a hot Summer’s day. If you  are looking after yourself this Summer, remember that no wellness focused lifestyle is complete without healthy meals and snacks. And if you are new to smoothie bowls, this is a cinch.

Ingredients (serves 1)

  • 2 frozen bananas
  • Half cup frozen blueberries
  • One quarter cup chia active Immune Support with Vitamin D and Zinc
  • Splash of plant milk

Mix in a high speed blender or if using a less powerful appliance, use fresh bananas rather than frozen.

Top with your choice of toppings, I used fresh banana slices, fresh blueberries and tropical trail mix in the picture but this varies depending on what I have in my larder. More chia seeds sprinkled on top with desiccated coconut is so nice too. Just go with your imagination!
