Overnight Oats Recipe


Honestly, making overnight oats in the evening is like gifting your future self! Waking up knowing your breakfast is made and ready to grab ‘n’ go is the best.

I make overnight oats for those days when I am busiest and I know I won’t even have time to cook porridge. As I make mine in kilner jars, if I need to bring it with me in the car to have when I have five minutes between errands and yoga classes, I have that option.

Take 5 minutes this evening to do something your future self will thank you for.

– 3 heaped tablespoons oats

– 1 heaped tablespoon chia seeds

– 1 heaped tablespoon peanut butter

– pinch Himalayan pink salt

– 1/2 cup plant milk

Leave to cool and set overnight in your fridge, I pop some fruit and a dash of maple syrup on top in the morning but you can do this the night before, just give the mixture a little time to partially set first. The chia seeds are what gives the mixture “body” and helps it to set. And they taste good too.
